The night before a raid
Your group is loaded on rockets and C4, moving on a clan base at Launch Site. On the second monitor the compound lights up: three defenders inside, loot stacked in a TC room, a fourth player returning from Oil Rig. You know the floor plan before the first rocket flies. That is the moment a DMA setup is built for.
What DMA is
DMA stands for Direct Memory Access. A small PCIe card sits in your game PC and reads the game's memory as a hardware device would, with no program running in Windows. The data goes to a second computer, which draws radar and loot ESP on its own screen.
Why it suits EAC
Rust uses EasyAntiCheat. It is aggressive about what runs on the game PC and reads processes, drivers and modules, though in October 2026 it has not shipped a major kernel change. With DMA there is no cheat process, injected file or extra driver on that machine, so EAC sees a clean client.
What you need
A DMA card in the game PC, firmware flashed for EAC and a second computer for the radar. An old spare machine is usually enough, since all it draws is a 2D map and a loot list.
Why wipes do not kill DMA
Force wipe falls on the first Thursday of the month and resets Blueprints along with the procedural map. The card reads memory, not files, and lives on BIOS and hardware, so patch wipes and BP resets do not break the setup the way a software cheat breaks when a signature changes.
Who it is for
Players who farm all day on the procedural map, run raids on monuments like Launch Site, Military Tunnels, Oil Rig, Dome and Harbor, defend online raids on their base, and anyone who streams Rust and wants a clean game PC.
