Fortnite runs two anti-cheats at once, EasyAntiCheat and BattlEye, and a normal cheat on the game PC meets both. A DMA build moves the cheat to a second computer: a card reads the game's memory and the overlay is drawn elsewhere, so there is nothing on the game machine to scan.
A DMA build works together with hardware. The card and firmware are bought once and fit any DMA build.

Fortnite runs EasyAntiCheat and BattlEye together, so anything loaded next to the game can be seen by at least one of them. With DMA there is no foreign process on the game PC: a card in a PCIe slot reads memory and the data goes to a second computer.
There is one build, FORTNITE DIRECT DMA. The card, firmware and second PC you put together yourself.
Zero Build has no walls to wait behind. You step into the open and whoever sees the other first shoots first. Aim with bone, FOV and smoothing settings helps you hold a target in a mid-range fight. The full feature list is on the cheat page.
ESP draws players, chests and loot over the picture on a second monitor or in a separate window. Each category toggles on its own, so the screen stays readable late in a match when the map is crowded.
Radar shows who is nearby and is drawn on the other computer. Your game screen stays clean, and you see which side a squad is coming from before the storm closes in.
Zero Build is the main target for DMA today. Reload, Festival, LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing also work where the build has the feature. Chapter 7 Season 4 Override has run since August 20, 2026. Patch v42.30 for Halloween came on October 1, Fortnitemares starts November 1 and Chapter 8 is expected in December. Each of these can change the build's status on the page.
There is no foreign process on the game PC, so there is nothing to scan. The remaining risk is the card itself: default firmware can be recognized. Use firmware made for both anti-cheats and don't switch on everything in your first match.
